Ah, the post-midterm-pre-career-trip-pre-finals lull!  What a perfect time to rejoice in the
foibles of one’s fellow classmates, professors, and staff!  As the autumn leaves blanket the
ground and the temperature dips below the freezing point, let's all huddle around our
computers, sing some…uh…computer-side songs, and laugh at each other, because isn't
that most of what life's about anyway boys and girls?  And now, without further ado…

"I know exactly what it would take to make me kill.  I've been imagining myself as a
terrorist for half my life!"

Marc Gopin, on the attraction of martyrdom

"Doris Day didn't propagandize anything…at least, not overtly…"

Thanos Veremis, on the alluring effects of film

"If you and I ruled the world, of course it would be perfect, but no one's asked us yet."

Alfred P. Rubin, on publicists

"Of all the instruments, he plays the drums…what does that say about the man?"

Thanos Veremis, on Bulgaria's King Boris

"Scholars are often engaged in folly"

Alan Wachman, on professors

"I never get in front of a student when a cheese ball is involved."

Lisa Lynch, on Fletcher receptions

OK, OK, I know, it's a little thin this time, but that means that you, yes, YOU,
faithful reader, should submit the quotes and gaffes that I know you have at your
fingertips…
